Resume
Operations Manager — Logistics, UK
- Career objective
- Move from site-level operations management into a regional operations role with multi-depot responsibility.
- Challenge
- A seven-page CV written as a task list. Twelve years of genuine turnaround work read as routine shift management, and applications for regional roles were being screened out before a human review.
- Strategy
- We rebuilt the CV around scope, ownership and results rather than duties: headcount managed, depots supported, cost and service metrics owned. Each role was reduced to a two-line context statement followed by three achievement lines, and the language was aligned to the regional operations job specs the client was targeting.
- Outcome
- A two-page CV that reads as regional-level leadership, and a shortlist of eight target employers with tailored positioning for each. The client reported moving from silence to first-stage conversations within the first month of applying.
